블레셋, 젖과 꿀이 흐르는
가나안의 쇠비름, 블레셋,
오늘도 이스라엘과 피비린내 나는
전쟁을 치르는
팔레스티나 거류민, 블레셋,
하나님은
출 애급 길에서 그들과의 전쟁을 피하여
곧바로 가나안에 이르는
길을 택하지 아니하시고
우회하셨으니, 홍해 바닷길을 따라
남행하여 성산 시내 산에 이르게 하심은,
하나님의 긍휼하심을 들어내심이니........
Exodus 13:17
And it come to pass, when Pharaoh had let
the people go, that God let them not through
the way of the land of the Philistines(one of
the warlike people in Palestine who were
the enemies of the Israelites), although that
was near ; for God said, Lest peradventure
(doubt)the people repent when they see war,
