아브람은
하나님과의 관계를 중시하는
세계관을 가지고 있어,
사람과의 사소한 관계일지라도
하나님과의
관계 속에서, 자기의 유익보다는
상대방의 입장을
먼저 들여다보는 이타적 정신이,
조카 롯과의 재산 분리에
있어서도, 극명하게 들어 남이니,
물질보다도 너무도 소중한
하나님과의 관계란 무엇일까.......
Genesis 13: 8
And Abram said unto Lot, Let there no be
strife, I pray thee, between me and thee,
and between my herdmen and thy herdmen
for we be brethren.

Is not the whole land before thee? Separate
thyself, I pray thee, from me, if thou wilt
take left hand, then I will go to right, or
if thou depart to the right hand, then I will
