34. 절망의 시간에 야곱에게
찾아오신 하나님
야곱은
형, 에서로부터 장자권을
사고, 아버지 이삭을
속여 장자가 받아야 할 축복을
가로챈 것은, 에서로 하여금
엄청난 분노를 일으켜, 야곱을 죽이려 하므로
아버지의 집이 있는 브엘세바를 탈출하였다.
유랑 길에서 날이 어두워
돌베개를 베고 노숙하든 야곱에게
하나님은 찾아오셔서
네가 누운 땅을 내가 네게 주리니
두려워하지 말라. 내가
너의 하나님이 되심이라 하시나니.......
Genesis 28:11
And he lighted upon a certain place, and
tarried there all night, because the sun was
set; and he took of the stone of that place,
and put them for his pillows, and lay down
in that place to sleep.
28:12
And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set
up on the earth, and top of it reached to
heaven, and behold the angels of God
ascending and descending on it.
28:13
And, behold, the Lord stood above it, and
said, I am the Lord God of Abraham thy
father and the God of Isaac : the land
whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it,
and to thy seed :
