31. 네 아들 네 독자를 아끼지 아니하였은즉
이는, 아브라함에게 약속하신
하나님의 언약(covenant)의
전제 조건이었다.
모리아 산상에서 독자(獨子) 이삭을
아낌없이 하나님께
내놓은 아브라함을 통해서,
장차 오실
그리스도의 예표를 보여주시고,
네 씨가 밤하늘의 별과 같고
바닷가 모래알과 같이 많게 하리라는
하나님의 언약은 성취되고,
다만 우리는 완성을 위해 정진함일러니.......
Genesis 22:16
And said, By myself have I sworn, said
the Lord, for because thou hast done
this thing, and hast not withheld thy son,
thine only son.
22:17
That in blessing I will bless thee, and in
multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the
star of the heaven, and as the sand which
is upon the sea-shore

And in thy seed shall all the nation of the
earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed
my voice.
