6. 네 후손들이 별과 같이 많으리라
하나님은
해와 달과 별을,
하늘 궁창에 두시어,
땅을
비추게 하시고,
그 하나님은 아브라함을
데리고
밖으로 나아가,
<후사가 없어
걱정하고 있는
아브라함에게>보라. 내가 네 자손을
셀 수없는 뭇별들과 같이하리라 하시니......

And God set them
in the firmament of the heaven
to give light upon the earth.

And he brought him for abroad,
and said, Look now toward heaven,
and tell the stars,
if thou be able to number them :
