12. 안식일을 거룩히 지키라
천지만물을
창조하시던 하나님이, 일곱째 날에
모든 일을 마치시고
쉬셨으니,
이를 기억하여, 거룩하게 지킬지니,
엿새 동안 부지런히 일하고,
일곱째 날은 우리 주, 하나님의
안식일이니,
네 자신은 물론, 아들이나, 딸이나,
남종이나, 여종이니, 육축이나,
네 집안에 든 손님까지라도
일하지 말며, 감사하므로 거룩하게 할지니........
Genesis 2:2
And on the seventh day God ended his work
which he had made,
and he rested on the seventh day from all his
work which he had made.
Exodus 20:8-11
. Remember the sabbath-day to keep it holy.
. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
. But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord
thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work,
thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy man-
servant, nor thy maid-servant, nor thy cattle,
nor thy stranger, that is within thy gates.
. For in a six days the Lord made heaven and earth.
the sea and all that in them is, and rested
the seventh: wherefore the Lord blessed
the sabbath-day and hallowed it.
